Prof. Gobir is a certified Banker, Project Manager, Program Manager and Finance Manager with subject matter expertise in multiple industries. She began her career as a Consultant in 1997 and became a Management Consultant in the year 2000, specializing in program definition, structure and delivery, firm level readiness and productivity, target market identification and technology and innovation. She is a certified International Auditor (ACCA), a certified Public Accountant and PMO Member since 2000. She also holds a certificate in International Financial Reporting (CertIFR) ACCA.

Prof. Gobir is an Innovative Expert having received the Managing Innovative Technology certification awarded by Oxford University (2019). She worked at the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) where she served as the head of the Innovations, Initiatives and Intervention Unit of the General Services Group. She was also the Coordinator and contact person of the Presidential Enabling Business Council Environment (PEBEC) for the FIRS.

Taxpayers can register for a Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) online.
Businesses and individuals can file their tax returns electronically, ensuring a faster and more efficient process.
The portal allows taxpayers to make secure online payments for different taxes, such as VAT, CIT, and others.
The Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) was established in 2016 by the Nigerian government to remove bureaucratic bottlenecks and improve the ease of doing business in Nigeria. It is chaired by the Vice President of Nigeria and works across various government ministries, departments, and agencies.
